Adrienne Larocque is a Nehiyaw Iskwew- Plains Cree Woman – from Louis Bull. She is the founder of Kihew and Rose, her line of contemporary Indigenous beadwork jewelry that blends traditional and modern design. Adrienne has always been a hands-on creative, and despite learning beading later in life, she has thrown herself into the practice of beadwork and design. Her pieces range in suitability for special occasions to everyday wear, in addition to accepting commissions. Adrienne is on a lifelong journey of reclaiming her culture, and her beadwork is central to this journey.
