Change the way we learn about the amazing women in our world!
Coverage of women in Wikipedia is lacking. According to the National Democratic Institute, only 17% of Wikipedia biographies are about women, and it’s even less in Wikipedia’s 295 other languages.
As the Regional Hub for the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH) in BC, we want to showcase the incredible women leaders in entrepreneurship, science, and tech, who deserve a more prominent platform!
This International Women’s Day, help boost the visibility of influential women during WEKH BC’s Wikipedia Edit-a-thon. Nominate a woman in entrepreneurship, business, science, and tech you want to see included in our edit-a-thon.
