Détails

All human society is organized into communities – cities, workplaces, congregations, audiences, etc.  Communities give us sustenance and the energy to be productive, compassionate and creative. But maintaining community cohesion is challenging when crises demand dispersal.  Building resiliency into all our communities is a vital component of organizational planning.

Corus is a major national broadcaster. Through the Global News Network, it plays a vital role in keeping national and local communities equipped with the information they need during crises. Equally, entertainment programming provides a valuable distraction from the challenges we face. And, at its heart, Corus is a community of employees. This presentation will explore how Corus implemented strategies to forge strong communities and sustain them through difficult times. It will be of interest to professionals in the broadcast industry, members of the broadcast audience and anyone trying to stay productively connected with their own workplace.
