Addressing the barriers Indigenous women face in business through storytelling!

About this Event

Join us on February 10th for a virtual discussion on Indigenous women in business and the resources available in Canada to support them! Creative Destruction Lab – Atlantic, Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH), and Women in Business New Brunswick (WBNB) are proud to co-host this event.

The event will be opened by Elder Debbie Eisan, who will start us off in a good way.

The first part of the event will be a panel discussion featuring Ashley Richard (Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub – WEKH), Natasha Martin-Mitchell (Women in Business New Brunswick – WBNB), and Victoria Labillois (Owner of Wejipeg Excavation Co-owner of Wejuseg Construction Inc.). This panel will be moderated by Kelsie Jonhston of Creative Destruction Lab – Atlantic.

Following this exciting panel discussion, participants will be able to join breakout rooms for more in depth discussions on the topics put forward by the panel.

We invite Indigenous women who are at any point in their entrepreneurial journey to register and join us for this event! A Zoom link will be sent to you once you have registered for the event, closer to February 10th!

We look forward to seeing you there.
