As Canada begins to focus on post-pandemic economic recovery, supporting women entrepreneurs is more critical than ever before. The research shows clearly that structural barriers long-faced by women entrepreneurs have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic and health crisis that has affected women entrepreneurs more than men and has affected Indigenous, racialized and other diverse entrepreneurs most of all.
