Son ambition? Faire en sorte que les communaut&eacute;s racis&eacute;es puissent acc&eacute;der plus facilement aux services de soutien en sant&eacute; mentale qui tiennent compte des diff&eacute;rences culturelles. En 2020, elle fonde Althea Therapy, application qui met en relation les clients avec des th&eacute;rapeutes de leur communaut&eacute; afin de faire reculer les in&eacute;galit&eacute;s raciales en mati&egrave;re de sant&eacute; mentale. L&rsquo;objectif est de normaliser le recours &agrave; la th&eacute;rapie au sein de toutes les communaut&eacute;s et de dissiper la m&eacute;fiance envers le syst&egrave;me m&eacute;dical, historiquement oppressif envers les personnes de couleur. Les utilisateurs d&rsquo;Althea Therapy ont acc&egrave;s &agrave; un journal dans lequel ils peuvent suivre leur humeur dans le temps, aux d&eacute;finitions cliniques, &agrave; un forum de soutien par les pairs et &agrave; des ressources qui les aident dans leur cheminement vers le bien-&ecirc;tre mental. Le travail de Micheline s&rsquo;inspire des exp&eacute;riences de discrimination et de harc&egrave;lement qu&rsquo;elle a elle-m&ecirc;me v&eacute;cues.
