Sa particularit&eacute; r&eacute;side dans l&rsquo;innovation de textiles synth&eacute;tiques de substitution. C&rsquo;est la premi&egrave;re entreprise au monde &agrave; recycler les d&eacute;chets alimentaires pour en faire du tissu. Myra Arshad en est la directrice g&eacute;n&eacute;rale. Elle dirige une &eacute;quipe de scientifiques et d&rsquo;entrepreneurs qui se passionnent pour la question de la durabilit&eacute; dans le secteur de la mode. Elle est issue d&rsquo;une famille de fabricants de textiles. Avant de cofonder ALT TEX, elle occupe des postes de direction dans les domaines de la vente et du marketing dans des entreprises du classement Fortune 500. Elle est titulaire d&rsquo;un baccalaur&eacute;at en administration des affaires de la Schulich School of Business de l&rsquo;Universit&eacute; York.
