Le 11 juin, le Diversity Institute a eu le plaisir de célébrer, avec des partenaires, le lancement en Alberta du Portail de connaissances pour les femmes en entrepreneuriat (PCFE), à l’Université Mount Royal de Calgary.<\/p>

L’évènement, qui a duré toute la journée, a commencé par un mot de bienvenue chaleureux prononcé par Elizabeth Evans, doyenne de la Faculty of Business and Communication Studies à l’Université Mount Royal. Organisé par ATB, ce lancement s’est articulé autour de discussions informelles interactives visant à définir l’objectif du PCFE et à évaluer l’esprit d’entreprise féminin au sein de la province. Il a également été marqué par des séances en ateliers destinées à dresser une cartographie préliminaire de l’écosystème de l’Alberta.<\/p>

La salle a accueilli plus de 50 personnes issues des secteurs de l’industrie, du gouvernement, des organismes sans but lucratif et de l’enseignement postsecondaire, qui jouent toutes un rôle majeur dans l’écosystème entrepreneurial de l’Alberta.<\/p>

Dirigé par le Diversity Institute de l’Université Ryerson<\/a>, le Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship<\/a> et la Ted Rogers School of Management<\/a>, et avec le soutien de plus de 50 organismes partenaires, le Portail de connaissances pour les femmes en entrepreneuriat<\/a> (PCFE) forme un réseau national de chercheurs, d’organismes de soutien aux entreprises et d’intervenants clés ayant pour objectif de réduire les obstacles et de stimuler l’esprit d’entreprise féminin au Canada. <\/p>

Le centre régional du PCFE en Alberta sera piloté par l’Université Mount Royal et il engagera le dialogue avec les écosystèmes d’entrepreneuriat local et national, tout en leur apportant sa contribution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
