Survey of Canadian Women Entrepreneurs
Women entrepreneurs face various barriers, from difficulty accessing capital to a lack of networks and mentors. In order to increase the amount of women entrepreneurs, we must make it easier to become an entrepreneur and to succeed. Surveys and interviews with women entrepreneurs provide insight on firsthand perspectives on their experiences that can better inform policy and practice.
Led by the BC Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Enterprise Centre, and the Women Enterprise Organizations of Canada, the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub will conduct a survey that provides insight from women entrepreneurs on their experience with current service providers, to understand any unique challenges they currently face in starting or growing their businesses, identify any support gaps, and understand any policies that are important to women entrepreneurs to successfully grow their businesses.
