Young Entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurs and Co-Entrepreneurs in the European Union and Central and Eastern Europe

The main aim of the research was to identify the key issues and problems facing young entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, co-entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from ethnic minorities, in order to inform policy development at the European level and facilitate effective support for these target groups. In order to reduce employment gaps, target groups are to be provided with tailor-made incentives and opportunities. This study was devised to assess the best course of action in order to provide these target groups with appropriate information, incentives and support structure to encourage access to economic life through entrepreneurship, thereby making a potentially valuable contribution to economic development and employment growth in the EU.
