Building on Ontario’s Trade Opportunities in the EU and the Pacific

Canadian businesses could be exporting more, particularly women-owned businesses. That was the message yesterday at the 2019 Ontario Economic Summit, in the afternoon panel with Japanese Consul-General Takako Ito, and Brice de Schietere, Deputy Head of the EU’s Delegation to Canada.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Wendy Cukier, and delved into the ways in which the Pacific region and the EU markets are well-poised to expand business relationships with Ontario. The panel also discussed the policies or initiatives that could increase trade, and specifically for women-owned companies.
