ICYMI: WES Ecosystem Fund Application Info Session

On January 11, The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development announced a new call for applications for the WES Ecosystem Fund. A key element of Budget 2021’s commitment to accelerate the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, the WES Ecosystem Fund aims to help close service gaps and strengthen capacity within the women entrepreneurship ecosystem in Canada.

The Government of Canada is currently accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations to support new projects that are focused on responding to systemic barriers and gaps for diverse, intersectional and/or under-served women. Please note that current recipients of funding from the 2018 WES Ecosystem Fund call for application are not eligible to submit an application for this Call.

To answer questions about the program and application process, the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH) hosted an information webinar in collaboration with Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada (ISED.)
