In 2022, Christine Goudie was recognized as one of the top 50 CEOs of the year by Atlantic Business Magazine. Christine is the founder and CEO of Granville Biomedical, a healthtech company that specializes in the design of pelvic health anatomical models and medical devices to improve clinical practice and patient care. The company’s flagship “Venus” pelvic health model is designed for women’s health, used by gynecologists, doulas, midwives, and sexual wellness educators in 5 continents. Christine leads the research and development team at Granville Biomedical to innovate medical-grade biocompatible devices, including a COVID-19 testing swab. In addition to her entrepreneurial profile, Christine holds a Master’s degree in industrial design, and she is currently an interdisciplinary PhD candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she is researching the development of a novel assistive device for persons living with spinal cord injuries.
