Carol Lee

Carol Lee is a prominent businesswoman and philanthropist who has dedicated her career to helping others. She is the co-founder of Linacare, a therapeutic skincare company that supplies hospitals, skincare centers, and cancer clinics in Canada, as well as beauty boutiques around the world. Despite offers from multinational beauty conglomerates to buy her company, Carol remains committed to her mission of providing affordable products for people suffering from cancer and eczema. In addition to her successful skincare business, Carol has also turned her attention to revitalizing the historic Chinatown in Vancouver, where she grew up. In 2009, she founded the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation and has since been involved in a number of projects to improve the community, such as a $108 million 10-storey affordable housing complex. Carol’s passion for food led her to also become a restaurateur, opening a traditional Chinese BBQ restaurant called Chinatown BBQ.
