Melissa Douglas

In 2022, Ontario’s Bradford Board of Trades honoured lawyer Melissa Douglas with the Woman of Influence Award. Melissa is the owner of Douglas Law Firm, where she specializes in real estate law, wills, and estates. She started Douglas Law Firm in Bradford in 2018, and then quickly expanded her business to Barrie and Vaughan, Ontario. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from York University, and she studied law at the University of Sussex in England. Her firm’s mission is to assist clients with their legal needs so that they can take care of what matters most. Melissa employs 17 employees across three locations, and the lawyers at Douglas Law Firm take a client-oriented approach to their practices.
