Geraldine Brouwer

Geraldine Brouwer is the owner of Big Country Raw, a pet food manufacturing company that makes raw pet food in Smithville, Ontario. Big Country Raw is Canada’s leader in the frozen raw pet food category. The company prides itself on eco-friendly packaging, locally and ethically sourced ingredients, and its partnership with proud Canadian farmers. Geraldine co-founded Big Country Raw in 2012 alongside her husband Rob. Her company has seen tremendous growth since its inception. Their products are available at over 250 pet food retailers in Ontario. They were recognized as the Small Business of the Year in 2017 by Canadian Business Magazine, and in 2022, The Globe and Mail recognized Big Country Raw among Canada’s Top Growing Companies.
