Lisa Shields

Lisa Shields is an experienced engineer and fintech entrepreneur. In 2016 she founded FISPAN, a global banking solution that reimagines both the accounting and banking experience by creating an integrated platform. The software connects businesses’ banks directly into their ERP environment, simplifying treasury management processes and automating accounting tasks. Lisa is also the founder and director of Hyperwallet Systems, a disruptive global payments solution interlinking cash networks and mobile money services at a market breaking price point. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where her thesis focused on numerical hydrodynamics. FISPAN is critically acclaimed and has received numerous recognitions by organizations such as the Fintech Forum Canada, CIX Top 20, Women in Payments, the Payments Innovation Alliance. Lisa is a recipient of the Technology Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year awarded by EY Canada.
