Gwen Lim

Gwen Lim is the owner of Motion and Still Inc., a Canadian company that creates impactful marketing and social media content for brands and businesses. Gwen’s mission is to help creative professionals increase their online digital sales, and she often works behind the camera, coming up with new production concepts and editing videos. Gwen started her first business in Singapore when she was only 16 years old, and later worked in corporate finance in London before moving to Canada. However, being a young female newcomer with limited credit options, she faced rejection from the first four banks she approached. Gwen is also on the spectrum with Asperger’s, which affected her growing up, but she learned to cope with it over time. She has persevered through hardships and built a remarkable portfolio having worked with international brands such as Porsche, Campbell’s, airbnb, Lipton, Spotify, Habitat for Humanity, and many more. Gwen was named one of the 21 Asian Entrepreneurs Who Are Shaking Up Canada by StartUp Canada.
