Tina Sheridan
Tina Sheridan is the founder and President of CreeQuest Corp, an Indigenous-owned mining service company that has put 120 people to work, over half of whom are women and close to half are Indigenous. Sheridan started her business in 2010 as a small catering and event planning company to build a new income stream and later partnered with Aramark, an international food and beverage company, in 2013, which led her to secure bigger contracts and expand her business. She also started CQ Laundry, an industrial laundry facility that handles all the linen for Detour Mine, and passed down the company to her daughter, who now owns and oversees business operations.
