Ashwaq Al-Hashedi

Dr. Ashwaq Al-Hashedi is a dental surgeon and prosthedontist with a PhD in dental implant therapy. Currently a Postdoctoral fellow at McGill university, she joined her colleague at the university to co-found InviCare, a company working on developing new techniques and products for decontamination of dental implants. Ashwaq helped to develop InviCare’s first product, an implant-safe cleaning gel featuring a new class of crystals to clean and disinfect the surface of dental implants. The innovative gel is used during regular clinical maintenance to prevent infection and rejection of dental implants.
