Jesse Brant

Yonenyà:kenht Jesse Brant is the co-founder of Sapling & Flint, a CCAB Certified Aboriginal Business selling jewelry and accessories. She is a Silversmith who specializes in Herkimer diamond and wampum jewelry. She has a Diploma in Jewelery Methodology from George Brown College, and learned traditional wampum cutting techniques from knowledgeable local cutters throughout her youth. Operating entirely within Six Nations of the Grand River territory, Sapling & Flint company supports the local Indigenous economy, working with Indigenous and Canadian suppliers in the manufacturing process. The company was co-founded by Yonenyà:kenht and her sister after they started raising families of their own and realized the value of immersing their children in their culture.
