Talent 2 Design was born from circumstance. Originally a nurse, Lisa suffered a catastrophic car accident that resulted in a brain injury that prevented her from continuing on in her nursing career. A single mom of 3, she began baking cookies for some extra income to support her family and was met with positive feedback. Despite Talent 2 Design’s first location being destroyed by a flood, during which her family was evacuated, Lisa rebuilt her business while living in a hotel with a lot of hard work from her and her family. Having overcome numerous personal challenges, Lisa runs a well-established bakery offering custom cake and cupcakes in Welland, ON.
