Nikki Sanchez

Nikki Sanchez is a Pipil and Irish/Scottish academic, Indigenous media maker, and environmental educator. She is the founder and Director of Decolonize Together, a collective of Indigenous and racialized women who provide consultations and anti-racism training to organizations who are dedicated to creating equitable innovations. Decolonize Together is committed to providing culturally inclusive services focusing on intersectionality, uplifting the voices of Indigenous and racialized women, non-binary, elders and youth. Nikki is a Doctoral candidate in Indigenous Governance at the University of Victoria. She holds a master’s degree in Indigenous Governance and a bachelor’s degree in environmental justice, both of which are also from the University of Victoria. She is currently a fellow of The Fireweed Fellowship, the first national accelerator program for Indigenous entrepreneurs.
