Toni Desrosiers

Toni is the creator of the original beeswax food wrap, Abeego. She founded her company with a focus on sustainability to disrupt the plastic-wrap industry, to reduce both plastic waste from food storage and to eliminate unnecessary food waste. Her invention came after she asked herself what nature’s food storage would look like: following extensive experimentation, she came up with her formula of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil that created a breathable, sealable material. As consumers increasingly become interested in the ecological footprint of their consumption, Toni has become a successful entrepreneur and trendsetter in zero-waste food storage.
