• Are you passionate about bringing new ideas and innovations to the southern Alberta Agriculture sector?
• Are you interested in helping create and implement emerging technologies into the local ecosystem to stay competitive and sustainable in a rapidly changing global marketplace?
• Are you ready to attend an event that will spark and lead change in our region?
On Thursday July 16th join Jefferson Gardner from InBridge as he leads you through the fundamentals of emerging technology including Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Internet-of-Things, Machine Learning, Drones, Automation, Robotics and more. We will explore use cases and the potential of emerging technology on agri-business and supply chain management such as productivity improvements, improved animal welfare, new value chains, reduced environmental impacts and new communications pathways between farmers and consumers.
Following Jefferson will be a discussion and brainstorming session facilitated by Tyler Wall from the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation at Lethbridge College who will lead a dynamic, interactive session with the latest in on-line engagement tools and through design thinking, spark ideation and out-of-the-box thinking.
The goal of the morning will be to ultimately develop and engage with local agricultural leaders and out of the box thinkers to create an “Agriculture Emerging Tech Innovator Cohort” to implement ideas and address challenges.
Deadline to register for Emerging Tech Solutions for Business – Agriculture will be 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 15th.
**Participants will be emailed a Zoom Link and other event details the afternoon of July 15th for the event the following morning.**
