Addressing the Disparities Amplified through the Pandemic
Due to the demand for this information and the importance of this topic, Women of Influence has made the decision to make this a free event for our entire community to access.
Upon closer inspection, the impact of COVID-19 is not equal for all. Over the summer, we spoke with community leaders about the disproportionate impact the pandemic has had on marginalized groups and the amplification of the disparities that already exist racially and economically. Now we’re bringing these leaders together for a hot-topic discussion on how we can actually level the playing field.
This critical conversation will focus on what has to happen next, with our panelists sharing tangible calls to action on how we all must work together and hold one another accountable.
Join us on Thursday, November 26th for the virtual Women of Influence Unmasked Event, presented by the 30% club, as Moderator Karlyn Percil [CEO, KDPM Consulting Group Inc.] sits down with Candies Kotchapaw [Founder, DYLOTT], Dr. Pam Palmater [Lawyer/Activist/Chair of Indigenous Governance – Ryerson University] & Dr. Wendy Cukier [Director, Diversity Institute – Ryerson University] for a candid discussion on how to build a better, more inclusive future.
(Jeudi) 6:15 pm - 8:00 pm
