Emotional intelligence (EQ) is now one of the most necessary skills in business. It’s a fact that has been recognized by The World Economic Forum, the Deloitte Millennial Survey and LinkedIn. This webinar will discuss the concept of emotional intelligence, why it’s important in day-to-day lives, and its necessity in our ever-evolving workplaces. Attendees will also get an introduction to the EQ-i 2.0 model, a scientifically validated EQ assessment used globally by companies including Google, Amazon and Nike, with an opportunity to take their own assessment after the session.
Priya Ramji is an emotional intelligence (EQ) specialist and the founder of Six Sense where she educates businesses on the ROI of emotional intelligence development. She is EQ-i 2.0 certified, and works with organizations and leaders to build emotionally intelligent teams, increase productivity and foster positive culture.
Priya is from London, Ontario and received her HBA from the Ivey Business School. She has gained experience in the media & entertainment industries both in Canada and the UK, working for companies including Apple, Corus Entertainment and Ticketmaster in a leadership capacity. In 2018, she moved home from the UK to found Six Sense and has since been recognized as one of Business London’s Twenty in their 20s, featured on Rogers TV and published several times in Postmedia publications for her insights on emotional intelligence training. She is an active member of her business community where she has spoken on the importance of networking, communication and fostering connections in niche industries. She is also the co-founder of a new London-based women’s networking group called FEMME (Female Entrepreneurs Making Moves Everywhere).
