Alexa Suter came to achieve her online influence back in 2013 before Instagram reached the recognizable status it has today. Suter expanded her audience – made up of tens of thousands of followers – while freelance writing and travelling throughout Paris and Hungary. In 2016, she created a Vancouver marketing agency called Studio Media to build on the momentum gained from her thriving digital presence. In the past three years alone, Studio Media has almost tripled its revenue through partnerships with Jack Daniels, L’Oréal Professional and Westin Hotels & Resorts. Three years later, Suter launched Huha, a line of anti-bacteria, anti-odour underwear. Through the Kickstarter she created, she raised some $31,000. In 2020, Suter was named a 30 Under 30 winner by BC Business.
