Alli Murugesan

Ali is a senior scientist researching cancer at the University of New Brunswick, holding a PhD degree in biotechnology and two postdoctoral fellowships in neuroscience and oncology. She is also an entrepreneur: she founded BioHuntress Technologies Inc to apply her breakthrough treatments to target and kill chemotherapy-resistant cancer cells. She founded her company to develop other novel drug treatments for blood cancers and resorptive bone diseases. She is the winner of Mitac’s 2018 Global Impact Entrepreneur award.
