Carol Rose

Carol Rose is an international artist whose work is inspired by a diverse background of countries and cultures, hence the name of her business: A.M.O.C. A Marrying of Cultures. Carol believes that her inspiration comes from her Creator God, and her other influences originate in the places she has visited, like Indonesia, Borneo, Mexico, Thailand, India, New Zealand, and Australia. A Métis woman, Carol was raised on the Canadian Prairies as the eldest of five children. Her father taught her to draw by using numbers, and at 8 years old, she dreamed of dots, colours, and patterns that can be seen in her artwork today. Her unique organic style blends Indigenous art forms with various mediums, and her pieces have found homes across the world in Australia, New Zealand, Korea, United States, England, Holland, Germany, and Canada.
