Chantale Houle

Chantale Houle is the President of Kefiplant, a company that manufactures organic fermented plants for companies in the beverage, supplement, and food sectors. Chantale launched Kefiplant in 2004, believing that there were more sustainable and healthier alternatives to traditional botanical fermentation. The company’s motto is “Good for Your Gut,” referring to their innovation of holistic and healthy superfoods. Chantale is a business professional with over 20 years of experience in research and development, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science. Her company has been on a rapid growth trajectory, working with entrepreneurs, manufacturers and distributors around the world. In 2020, the Federation of Québec Chambers of Commerce (FCCQ) honoured Kefiplant with the Mercuriades Award for Development of International Markets.
