Cheryl Brandon is a founding partner of Waterton Global Resource Management. She is responsible for deal origination, deal structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring and exiting investments in the metals and mining business. She oversees all investment initiatives at Waterton Global and serves on the Investment Committee and the Valuation Committee for the Funds. Cheryl has over 15 years of experience evaluating and financing resource companies’ having been involved with structuring and executing more than 50 transactions involving junior, mid-tier and senior mining companies. Prior to joining Waterton in 2009, Cheryl co-managed a resource strategy at a Canadian hedge fund focused on investing in the resource sector.
