Danis Sale

Danis Sale is the co-founder of Turtle Island Connections, an Indigenous-owned wellness box subscription service in Comox, British Columbia. Turtle Island Connections partners with local Indigenous businesses to build their boxes. Their proceeds are donated to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. Danis is from the northern Saskatchewan Cree Nation, and she currently lives on the unceded territories of Kwantlen and Coast Salish in Surrey, BC. She co-founded Turtle Island Connections to provide herself and her children with a way to connect with their ancestral roots. Her business is listed on the Native Women’s Association of Canada’s #BeTheDrum Indigenous Women’s Business Directory.
