Dr. Claudine Cousins

Dr. Claudine Cousins is a thought leader, strategist, and community change maker with over 25 years of leadership experience within Ontario Public Service, non-profits, and the financial sector. She serves as the CEO of Empower Simcoe, a human services organization in the health sector that creates programs to help improve everyday life for people with intellectual disabilities. Claudine also teaches part-time in the School of Business at Georgian College. She is a decorated professional and businesswoman who has been awarded the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Woman of Business Visionary Award, the 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Social Change Award for Regional Impact, and nominated for the 2021 RBC Canadian Entrepreneur Award.
