Emefa Kuadey

Emefa Kuadey is a British-born, Ghanaian Fashion Engineer and the founder of israella KOBLA, the women’s clothing and accessories brand that is redefining minimalism. Having initially pursued a different career, her love for fashion eventually became more compelling and by 2017, she left her corporate job to study at one of Canada’s top fashion schools, George Brown College. In 2019, soon after graduating, she launched israella KOBLA with the release of their debut collection at Vancouver Fashion Week. Inspired by a juxtaposition of interests: fashion and a past professional life as a civil engineer, israella KOBLA pieces highlight an appreciation for architecture and timeless design.
