Emily Evans

Lauren Saunders and Emily Evans are the Creators and Co-Directors of The Shop, SALT Inc., a clothing brand based out of St. John’s, NL. The pair have been friends since childhood and started SALT to create meaningful connections and celebrate personal expression. The brand focuses on inclusivity, gender-neutral clothing, and collaborations with unique, like-minded creators. In 2020, they partnered with Erica Jane Design to take slightly damaged clothing and turn it into unique products to be more sustainable and reduce wastage. With only a $200 shared start up investment, Emily and Lauren have grown a business built on passion, community, integrity, and having fun.
