Jane Roos

Jane Roos’s professional track career ended abruptly after she was involved in a car accident at 19 years of age. Though quite the setback, for Roos, the journey was only beginning. While in recovery, she gained a new vision to help other Canadian athletes. The result was the creation of Canadian Athletes Now, a non-profit organization providing direct funding for Canadian athletes. In addition to this pioneering work, Roos is also making her mark as a successful artist and owner of the Jane Roos Gallery in downtown Toronto. She’s sold paintings across Canada and New York and commissioned artwork to support charity initiatives like CAN Fund. To date, the fund has raised over $40 million.
