Jean Erasmus

Jean Erasmus is the co-founder of Dene Wellness Warriors, an Indigenous focused wellness business based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Erasmus spent six years of her younger years in Indian Residential Schools (IRS) and is a third-generation survivor. Today, Erasmus draws from her own skill set and life experiences to help people build up themselves holistically and begin their own healing journeys. She is a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association, and is the only Indigenous therapist recognized by Health Canada to work with Residential School Survivors and their families. Erasmus is a compassionate and resilient woman who is committed to helping Indigenous people find solutions towards change and break the cycle of trauma for future generations.
