Joleen Mitton

Joleen Mitton is a Cree model and the founder of All my Relations LTD & Indigenous Fashion Week. She has decades of modeling experience and works with at-risk Indigenous youth. In 1999, she traveled to Asia to begin her modeling career and lived in countries such as Thailand, Hong Kong, and China until 2008. She returned home with a focus to make a change with her new agency, Supernaturals Modelling. Joleen is addressing issues of representation, mental health awareness, and poor cultural sensitivity. Supernaturals Modelling aims to celebrate and make visible Indigenous Peoples at a high level in media arts, culture, community, land-based wisdom, and the global market. The company’s philosophy is founded on uplifting and supporting talent “from an Indigenous worldview” that prioritizes people and culture over profit.
