Kayla Larabie is the founder of Awai Swim, a handmade, affordable, and environmentally conscious swimwear brand based in Canada. The brand was born out of Kayla’s desire for quality affordable swimwear. She designs and handcrafts each piece herself, giving her complete control over the company’s fabrics and size range. Awai Swim’s size range is XS to XL, and Kayla is willing to customize swimsuits based on measurements. The brand uses eco-friendly fabrics made from ECONYL nylon, which is produced from recycled pre and post-consumer plastic and abandoned fishing nets found in the ocean.
