Krista Malden

Krista Malden always seemed to possess an innate passion for storytelling. She founded Community Now! Magazine out of her deep burden to tell good stories and connect people in her local community of Alberta. Though she had little to no funding to begin with, Malden persisted with her vision and launched the magazine in two months. Today, Malden is driven by her sincere desire to inspire members of her community through transformative storytelling. Her coverage typically demonstrates a focus on community and innovation. Most recently, she was featured as a SheInnovator along with other distinguished women in Alberta.
