Lara Murphy

Lara and Karen met at a Banff construction site. Over their shared experiences, thoughts & ideas around the industry, they saw the opportunity to launch a new construction firm that would build trust based on open dialogue and education around the construction process. They founded their joint venture in 2008, coinciding with a period of global economic recession, but through grit and resilience they took and personally worked whatever jobs they could find, while undertaking long-term planning when they had the time. They practiced financial restraint, waiting years to hire their first employee. Their discipline has allowed their business to grow despite turbulent times in Alberta.
