Lisa Mumm

Lisa Mumm is the owner and founder of Mumm’s Sprouting Seeds, a business specializing in organic sprouting seeds. With roots in farming dating back to the 1970s, Lisa has been producing high-quality organic sprouting seed for over 35 years. The business is based in Parkside, Saskatchewan and ships its products throughout Canada, the US, and overseas. Lisa’s parents, in the mid-1970s, initially started growing alfalfa and radish seed for sprouting on their organic farm. Over the years, the business grew, and in 2000, it moved from the farm to an old curling rink in Parkside. Lisa, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Outside of her business, she is actively involved in the organic movement and serves on the board of Organic Connections and is a past VP of the Canada Organic Trade Association.
