Lynn Dargis

Lynn Dargis

After the tragic death of her parents, founder and CEO of Farmbucks, Lynn Dargis was faced with a hard new reality. It was August 2007, and Dargis was just 20 years old. Yet, in the midst of all of the abounding uncertainty, she made the difficult decision to keep the farm and commit to overseeing 4,200 acres. Her work on and off the fields in those days soon led to the planting of a seed. Dargis started Farmbucks – an online platform that enables farmers to make profitable decisions more efficiently – as a practical solution to some grain marketing challenges she was coming face-to-face with. In 2020, Dargis won $25,000 at the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs’ Pitch for the Purse.
