Margo Purcell

Margo Purcell is a highly-experienced leader who is the co-founder and CEO of InceptionU, an organization that helps professionals and businesses transition into the tech industry and drive economic growth in Alberta. As CEO, Margo is responsible for the overall success of InceptionU’s learning programs and corporate offerings. She works closely with co-founders, industry, and government partners to develop accessible programs that reflect the needs and opportunities that exist within Calgary’s innovation ecosystem. With a long history as an entrepreneur, Margo is a graduate of Leadership Calgary, a licensed Lumina Learning Practitioner, and a certified Lifepath practitioner. In November 2019, she traveled to Mauritius where she was an Expert in Residence at African Leadership University. InceptionU, which launched in 2018, aims to help people with both the technical and essential skills that are needed now and in the future.
