Shawn Hewat

Shawn Hewat is the CEO and co-founder of Wavy, a culture management platform that empowers businesses to create meaningful company culture. Wavy offers online, in-person, and asynchronous programs for its clients, offering them flexible experiences. The company was launched in 2019, and many of its current services are tailored toward remote work environments as a result of COVID-19. Shawn is a marketing and communications professional with a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. She is passionate about the future of work, people and culture, and work-play-life balance. Her expertise lies in employee engagement. In 2019, she and her co-founder Neshay Ahmed participated in Communitech’s Fierce Founders Bootcamp, where Wavy finished as the runner-up.
