Tammy Beauvais is a Fashion Designer and Owner of Tammy Beauvais Designs, an Indigenous fashion design company that utilizes native motifs in their design of contemporary and traditional apparel. Launched in 1999, Tammy has been designated as one of the ten best Aboriginal designers in Canada with her creations exhibited in various museums across the world. Her creations have been donned by Robert De Niro, Pope John-Paul II, Eric Roberts, Pierce Brosnan, and Madame Aline Chrétien among others. Tammy is an active member of the Indigenous community, helping Indigenous people living on the streets of Montreal. She is also a contributor to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Peoples and to the Mohawk Language programs.
