Thembi Bheka

Thembi Bheka is the founder of Thrive-Cast and Virtual Staff On Demand, an organization that trains women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Africa to work as virtual assistants online. The organization is based in Canada and the mentioned Michelle Gwafa is one of their virtual assistants, who is located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. They provide virtual assistance services such as graphic designing and social media management, and have recently started working with an organization called FEW. Thembi Bheka’s goal is to empower one million women by 2025 by helping them generate income through virtual assistance work, and she has been recognized as a leader in this field by other entrepreneurs. Thembi has been voted a Launch Club Spokesperson, featured on top-rated podcasts, and spoken at live events. Thembi also spends time volunteering with Kelowna Community Resources, helping new immigrants in Canada, while she lives between Kelowna, Canada and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
