Theresa Meuse

Theresa Meuse is an Indigenous educator, advisor, and author. She is the founder of Mi’kma’ki Craft Supplies, an e-commerce platform that sells craft kits with video tutorials, finished crafts, and other educational materials. Mi’kma’ki Craft Supplies was launched in March 2020 with the purpose of sharing Indigenous culture. In 2021, Theresa represented Mi’kma’ki Craft Supplies as a semi-finalist in the Atlantic Pow Wow Pitch. Theresa was born and raised in the Bear River First Nation community. She is the author of The Sharing Circle, a book with stories about First Nations culture, and L’nu’k The People, which traces the lineage of today’s Mi’kmaq and shares the details behind many traditional practices.
