ARE YOU AN INDIGENOUS WOMAN WORKING IN THE TRADES? Join WEKH and ABM on April 8th from 11AM-3PM CST for Mikwam Makwa Ikwe: Indigenous Women in Trades.

IMPORTANT! If you are an Indigenous business start-up (in business for three years or less) and in the development and pre-profit phase, we will provide you with your registration for free.

For decades, trades training has been promoted to Indigenous women as a way to participate in the economic activity of their territories.

If you are an Indigenous woman interested in opening a business or scaling up in the male-dominated world of trades, firstly, we salute you! Secondly, you should attend this event!

ABM and WEKH are collaborating to bring you resources, partners, and customers to help you get started and or to generate growth. Tell us what you need and we will help you get it!

Our ask is that if you are interested in learning more about this event and how the ABM network can help you and your business, please reach out to WEKH’s Indigenous Research Strategist, Kara Thorvaldson, at kara.thorvaldson@ryerson.ca
